Parylene in the world

The history of Parylene dates back to 1947, when Michael Szwarc, an American chemist, first synthesized parylene films in the laboratory. 18 years later, in 1965, scientist William F. Gorham invented the method of chemical vapor deposition to synthesize parylene film, and obtained practical value of parylene film through commercial parylene deposition equipment. From then on, Parylene began to flourish.

Parylene in China

In 1998, the Institute of Optical Machinery of the Chinese Academy of Sciences imported China's first parylene coating machine in Xi'an, and began the research and development of the emerging technology of Parylene. In 2001, Cycad Company set up the coating center in Shanghai and ZASEN in KunShan, JiangSu Province in 2003. Up to now, China's parylene technology has also made gratifying developmentents.

Parylene in ZASEN

ZASEN, which specializes in Parylene service, was founded in KunShan in 2003. In 2004, ZASEN realized the localization of equipment. Combined with the efforts of ZASEN R & D Center, parylene was further commercialized in Chinese customers. In 2005, ZASEN provided coating service for Andrew’s optical fiber components. The service was fully aceepted by Japanese customers in 2009, and entered the southwest, south China and north China markets……
